Description
The aim is to implement the principles and methods studied in class on real systems, through 3 practical exercises:
- Control of a speed servo with pre-filtering action and realistic specifications (experiment on a Leroy Somer 300W DC motor bench).
- On/off control of a thermal enclosure with observation and minimization of the pumping phenomenon
- Frequency synthesis of a digital corrector using Delta and W(bilinear) transformations, application to the digital control of a speed servo.
Objectives
The aim is to put into practice the concepts and tools seen in the courses.
- Control of Continuous and Discrete-Time Linear Systems,
- Frequential Analysis of Nonlinear Systems,
- Modeling and Control in State Space,
taught this semester and last.

Mandatory prerequisites
- Pseudo-continuous domain discretization of controllers
- Analysis of looped nonlinear systems using the first harmonic method
- Analysis of structural properties (stability, controllability, observability, etc.) of dynamic systems; observer synthesis; state feedback control synthesis.
