In the field of ecology, it provides an opportunity to illustrate the concepts of ecology covered in class, notably the notion of succession and ecological gradient, by studying the ecological factors governing the distribution of plant communities. In the field of water science, this field school is devoted to hydrology. It provides an introduction to watershed hydrology in the Pyrenees.
