Objectives

The training takes place in two stages. In the first phase, the trainer provides a number of rules, benchmarks and practical advice on what companies expect, recruitment techniques and how to draw up a career plan. The aim of the second phase is to transform knowledge into "know-how". This is made possible by themed workshops (skills assessment, interview simulation, skills enhancement) enabling engineering students to learn about the structure and stakes of a recruitment interview and the expectations of the various parties involved, as well as to practice job interviews.

To put these exercises into practice, each student conducts a mock interview with a panel of judges made up of representatives from the scientific and technical side (a former graduate and/or a teacher-researcher) and representatives from the human resources side (training organizations or working professionals). This simulation represents the culmination of a process of reflection on their professional project, and gives rise to individualized feedback encouraging students to rework their weak points, and leading them to become more autonomous in their communication, internship search and construction of their professional project.
