Description

This module is organized in 2 parts. The first part covers air pollution (impacts and biomonitoring) and soil pollution (soil database and soil-urbanization interaction). The second part is dedicated to a project supervised by consultants. The aim of this project is to acquire the methodology developed in environmental assessment procedures, including impact studies. Based on a case study, the aim is to: define the regulatory framework according to the activity and scope of the project (environmental assessment vs. case-by-case examination), characterize the initial state of the environment, identify and prioritize environmental issues, assess impacts in order to propose avoidance, reduction or compensation measures as part of the ERC procedure.

This module is partly shared with the3rd year GREEN course at Bordeaux Sciences Agro.
