Description
MODD (Management et Outils du Développement Durable - Management and Tools for Sustainable Development) brings together a series of courses on sustainable development, a concept that plays a key role in the strategy of any company. These courses enable students to learn how to manage certain issues associated with preserving the environment and corporate social responsibility, drawing on the concepts of management systems and more specific techniques.

Syllabus
Part 1 (8h lecture): Sustainable development and technological issues
The first course introduces students to the concept of sustainable development. At the end of this course, students will be able to assess the relevance of this concept and its applications in the socio-economic world. They will then be in a position to integrate a sustainable development approach into the management of different types of projects and engineering missions.
Part 2 (5CM/TD (6.66H) + 3h fresque climat): Energy-Climate Issues
This module provides a basic understanding of issues relating to (i) energy use worldwide and in France, and (ii) the consequences for climate change. It also introduces the concepts of carbon accounting and, more generally, environmental accounting.
Climate fresco (3h): workshop to better understand the components of climate disruption and its systemic nature.
