Description
Research work requires the ability to exchange and communicate with different contacts and departments. Teamwork and networking are the rule. Knowledge of one's environment and profile (of oneself), and of the way in which we manage our relationships with colleagues and team members, as well as the posture we adopt towards our supervisors, are the foundations of success. The aim of this module will be to provide participants with simple, practical, useful and pragmatic tools or keys that can be used immediately, so that they can approach teamwork with serenity.
Research work can also be carried out in a company. A company functions like a living organism, whose "survival" depends on effective coordination between its various components. Its performance is intrinsically linked to its organization and strategies. To define these strategies, companies resort to a process of reflection and strategic planning. This process varies from one company to another, depending on its size, sector of activity, market and specific objectives. In this course, we'll be using project management to tackle some of the real-life issues facing companies.
Objectives
Understand current business issues
Understand the issues at stake in different corporate functions
Discover analysis and reflection frameworks and various tools adapted to project management.
- approach a topical issue (management style, corporate responsibility, net zero...) in a company, analyze the strategy implemented in the different functions of the company (production, quality, marketing, purchasing...)
- put into practice project management techniques (module 1A- Lallet) to provide a structured approach to planning, organizing, executing and controlling a project

Knowledge control
Evaluation criteria
- 35% Individuals: public speaking_in English (bonus) active listening participation in Retex, attendance
- 65% Collective: analysis of subject, synthesis of information, prescription of actions, evaluation of impact, project management (compliance with deliverables, phasing... ).
In the event of absence from the second session, the student will not be graded. As 65% of the test is based on a collective mark, there will be no make-up tests.
Syllabus
- First session (3h): several speakers distill knowledge about the company, its macroeconomic ecosystem, stakeholders (internal and external), and its various functions (human capital, CSR, accounting, etc.). Students divide into groups of 5, choose a business issue (from among several presented) and set about addressing it in project mode. At the end of this first session, they present a GANTT with a breakdown of tasks.
- In the second session (3x1h20), teams are invited to join a working group (a group of teams sharing the same subject), which will be assigned to them by e-mail, in order to:
Present the analysis for 15' max (English possible with bonus) before a jury with a 5' "question-answer" exchange
Carry out two collective feedback sessions: Using all the elements presented during the session, each team will draw up two cognitive maps, one on the response to the problem and the other on the obstacles and success criteria of a project.
