Description
On completion of the course, students will be able to take part in the design, execution and interpretation of a design of experiments.
This involves being able to:
Define the appropriate type of experimental design;
Choose the factors and the levels at which to study them;
Interpret the results of the design qualitatively, quantitatively and statistically;
Conclude on a design, be able to extend it if necessary and optimize on the basis of the results.
Objectives
Teachers are expected to :
Present the method's potential
Define the design of experiments methodology and its conditions of use
Implement the appropriate design of experiments and process the data obtained
Evaluate the relevance of the results obtained
