Description
- Be able to discuss the various physico-chemical processes at the electrode-electrolyte interface and how their combination leads to a more or less complex behavior of the electrochemical system as a whole,
- Be able to transpose the various concepts of electrochemistry to fields of application
- Understand the link between electrochemistry and green chemistry and/or sustainable development.

Syllabus
This course is designed to give students a basic understanding of electrochemistry in relation to the following topics:
The electrode/electrolyte interface
Establishment and behavior of the double layer
Charge transfer kinetics
Transport phenomena at the interface
Coupling of charge transfer with matter transport
Potential scanning techniques
Bipolar electrochemistry
