Student involvement

The aim is to validate the skills, knowledge and aptitudes that students have acquired through the following activities, which are in line with those expected in their course of study:

voluntary activity within an association,
activity promoting the school or establishment,
involvement in the service of the school or establishment
professional activity,
military activity in the operational reserve,
volunteer firefighter commitment,
civic service,
volunteer service in the armed forces,
participation in the boards of the establishment and schools, other higher education establishments or regional centers for university and school works.

If a student wishes to use ECTS credits for his or her involvement in community, social or professional activities, in place of the UE d'approfondissement project, he or she must submit a request at the beginning of the semester (S5 or S6) to the Director of Studies.
Depending on the activities, a set of specifications will be drawn up, specifying the skills to be acquired over the course of the semester or year. At the end of the semester, a committee will validate whether or not the targeted skills have been acquired. If the contract is fulfilled, the UE will be validated at the end of the semester.
