EMC of electronic circuits

  • School / Prep

    ENSEIRB-MATMECA

Internal code

EE8EA229

Description

The aim of this course is to raise students' awareness of electromagnetic compatibility, and more specifically of the susceptibility of electronic components and boards to electromagnetic interference. We'll look at the different coupling mechanisms between an electromagnetic wave and an electronic board, the different coupling paths allowing a parasitic signal to propagate within an electronic board, and finally the different routing, filtering and shielding techniques used to improve the electromagnetic immunity of electronic circuits and boards.
