The aim of this course is to familiarize students with digital image processing, its concepts, basic methods and applications.

Syllabus
- General image information. 2. Color image representation. 3. Transformations used in image processing. 4. Image enhancement. 5. Spatial and frequency filtering. 6. Non-linear image processing techniques. 7. Geometric image transformations. 8. Mathematical morphology. 9. Segmentation. 10. Image synthesis and processing in Matlab.
- Applications : -Chroma-keying, Detangling, Derivative filters
