Electronics for Energy Conversion 2

  • School / Prep

    ENSEIRB-MATMECA

Internal code

EE8EA214

Description

Elements for the design of power circuits and systems.

After studying the simplified model of the impulse transformer, we go on to study isolated asymmetrical and symmetrical DC-DC converters. We then revisit some power semiconductor components, and describe the various control and protection circuits for these components. Some types of switching power supplies are described, and small-signal modeling of these converters is introduced. This approach to isolated conversion is complemented by a design office.
