Robot Makers' Day disseminations

Every year, the New Aquitaine robotics community and its Aquitaine Robotics cluster mobilize around the Robot Makers' Day robotics festival, which brings together up to 200 teams of young robotics competitors. The event combines competitions, stands and conferences to promote science and industry, their professions, know-how and training.
To support the Robot Makers' Day community and its work with young learners, each student-engineer is asked to devote a minimum of 16 hours of his or her time to at least one of the following three actions:

follow and coach a team of middle-school students taking part in one of the Robot Makers' Day robotics competiitons
prepare and host a class from one of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine academies during a visit to a scientific establishment.
present a robotic demonstrator at a Robot Makers' Day event

This initiative is supported by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine education authorities, the ENSAM, ENSC and ENSEIRB-MATECA engineering schools, and the Aquitaine Robotics and URISA networks.
