NANOSATELLITE project for a base station in groups of 4-5 students. The teachers supervising the project define the specifications for retrieving data from an American weather satellite. Students are divided into the following sub-projects:
- Radio-frequency antennas (138 MHz and 1.7 GHz)
- RF reception
- Radiological, which requires programming to retrieve digital data and then transfer the information to a PC.
Commercial components will be used.
This project will give rise to a written report and an oral presentation.
It is part of a European NANOSTAR project, and as such contributes to a challenge between the project's academic partners.
