The knowledge (skills) expected at the end of the course

Know several types of model that can be exploited to represent signals in different application contexts: (C3, N3)
Know and understand different estimation approaches that can be based on adaptive filtering such as LMS and RLS or Kalman filters (standard or extended): (C3, N3)
Know the general principles of radar signal processing, from transmission to reception: (C2, N2)
Know the basics of object tracking in the radar domain: (C3, N3)

The learning outcomes in terms of abilities, skills and attitudes expected at the end of EU courses

Be able to define the most appropriate models for the signals and systems studied: (C3, N3)
Develop, simulate, evaluate and validate signal processing approaches based on parameter estimation techniques, within the framework of a given application: (C3, N3)
Evaluate the usefulness of each block in the radar chain, from waveform selection to the information block, via the RF stage and the signal processing receiver block: (C2, N2)
