Description
Pupils are called upon to exercise responsibility, and must grasp the importance of a well-balanced body and the advantages, recognized by professional circles, that they derive from the experience of physical, sporting and artistic activities. The aim of this teaching is threefold: - to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle, - to contribute to the development and blossoming of the personality, - to reinforce solidarity within each group, so as to establish a genuine sense of competition in this type of preparation.
In order to form a cultured, lucid, physically autonomous, socially educated and health-conscious citizen, students choose an OPTION to "Realize a personal training project".

Mandatory prerequisites
OPTIONS 1 and 2 = General physical fitness for A.P.S. OPTION 3 = Medical certificate > 1 month old. OPTION 4 = minimum regional level required (2 training sessions/week and federal competitions). OPTION 5 = In-depth practice of a musical instrument, CV and cover letter.
Syllabus
- OPTION 1: "SPORT and TRAINING" (extra-curricular) Students sign up for and take part in an A.P.S. according to their timetable. At the beginning of the year, a range of 30 activities is offered, including team sports, individual sports, outdoor activities and artistic activities. OPTION 2: "SPORT and HEALTH" (included in the timetable) Alternating with LV2 groups Wednesday 8:00am - 9:20am, 9:30am - 10:50am and 11:00am - 12:20pm OBJECTIVES relating to the development of Relational and Behavioral Skills govern the treatment of activities and influence the construction of cycles. Sessions should therefore include work on the following skills : COMMUNICATING, CREATING, SITUATING ONESELF, TAKING RESPONSIBILITY. - OPTION 3: "SPORT and MANAGEMENT" (linked to a medical exemption) If a medical exemption does not allow the student to follow a sufficient number of hours (treated on a case-by-case basis), the student will be entrusted with the realization of a SPORTS PROJECT. Examples of subjects = organization of a sporting event, team coaching, organization of associative sports activities, etc. Skills required: ANALYSIS, FORECASTING, CONCEPTING, COMMITMENT, REALIZATION. - OPTION 4: "SPORT et HAUT NIVEAU" After applying for classification as a "Sportif de Haut ou de Bon niveau", students who have accepted this status will write a dissertation on their sporting year, which they will submit at the end of each semester: FORESEE, PLAN, REALIZE. - OPTION 5: "Artistic Activities" Students with a personal background in music can choose this option and take part in the collective production of a musical performance before an audience at the end of each semester.
