Description
These practical exercises illustrate the Linear Automatics AU103 course.
The first exercise teaches how to control a simple automation system using a TSX 47 PLC and grafcet modeling. Two other exercises concern continuous-time systems whose models and dynamic behaviors are analyzed and characterized in the time and frequency domains. The interest and study of their controls are then studied. Matlab programming software and real-time control systems are used.
These 3 experiments are as follows:
* Control of a pneumatic system using a TSX 47 programmable logic controller (movement of a metal part on a bench using pneumatic cylinders and a conveyor belt) * Modeling, identification, simulation and simple control of a non-linear system (position-servo-controlled load on an overhead crane) * Identification and pre-compensation control of an electromechanical system (speed-servo-controlled DC motor).
