Description
This module introduces the tools needed to process discrete-time digital signals. In particular, the concepts of Fourier transform, Z-transform, filtering, sampling and windowing are covered.

* LINEAR SYSTEMS WITH ALEAGIC INPUTS:
- Reminders on linear systems with deterministic inputs
- Case of random inputs
- Generation of correlated random processes
* DISCRETE SYSTEMS:
- Signal acquisition chain
- Discrete signal representation
- Sampling theorem
- Representation by the z-transform
- Stability of filters
* INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL FILTERS:
- Filter classification: RIF and RII filters
- Some properties of RIF filters
- Linear phase filters
- Frequency response
- Characterization of filters by the position of poles and zeros.
