System and network development (Cyber Training Platform)

This module consists of a project to develop a cyber training platform. The project is spread over the whole semester, 4 hours per week. It builds on the development work carried out by previous classes.
The cyber training platform is designed to be a realistic cyber defense training environment, with appropriate software and hardware resources to simulate, test, prototype and demonstrate actions related to cybersecurity threats (hacking, intrusion, Denial of Service, etc.) in a realistic, watertight environment. The teaching objectives of the platform are numerous: (1) Improvement of theoretical and practical knowledge, (2) Training in the detection of hidden anomalies in network traffic and identification of attributes of cyber-attacks, (3) Identification of weak points in a network infrastructure and emergency plans to be implemented.
