explain their theoretical and experimental bases,
implement a spectroscopic analysis in the field of materials.

Syllabus
Introduction
Industrial context
Radiation, matter and interactions
Principles, technologies and industrial applications of optical spectroscopies and photoelectron or related spectroscopies: atomic absorption, atomic emission, UV-visible molecular absorption spectroscopy, infrared molecular absorption spectroscopy, Raman scattering, XPS, X-ray fluorescence.
Conclusion
The course will be illustrated by two practical sessions on optical spectroscopies.
