Technical file

The aim is to build up a dossier covering the technical and scientific issues and management of the project.
This dossier, of no more than 15 pages, will enable the apprentice to demonstrate a sound technical understanding of his subject and assess his level of mastery.
The pedagogical objectives are to:

Enable the apprentice to grasp the scientific and technical dimension of his project
Take a step back from his project

The apprentice is required to produce a report of no more than 15 pages on the technical aspects of the proposed project. This document will be useful for preparing the validation of the theme.
It will contain at least:

An introduction explaining the context of the project, and why it is an issue for the company (1 page).
Presentation of the project's technical issues (8 pages maximum)

Positioning of the technical issues (analysis of existing situation)
Scientific approach
Regulatory constraints
Proposed areas of work and analysis methods
Proposed technical solutions
Technical and economic aspects, planning (Gantt) and study of the risks inherent in the project
A conclusion and a personal approach to the contribution of this work (1 page)


This work must be approved and commented on by the apprentice master and assessed by the training tutor according to the assessment grid.
