Description
Know the electronic configuration of an atom (using Klechkovski's, Hund's and Pauli's rules)
Be able to calculate ionization energies (using Slater's approximation if necessary)
Relate the position of elements in the classification with their chemical and physical properties (ionic radius, ionization energy, electron affinity and electronegativity)
Draw up molecular orbital diagrams of diatomic molecules.
