Description
Physical Layer part: this part of the course introduces the transmission techniques used in mobile and wireless networks. In particular, it presents the spread-spectrum techniques used in 3G telephony systems, and the OFDM technique used in the IEEE 802.11a/g/n, IEEE 802.16, DVB-T and DVB-H standards.
High layer:
The aim of this second part of the course is to present the transmission architecture of mobile and wireless telecommunications systems such as GSM, mobile IP and DVB.

Course objectives: The aim of this course is to present the transmission techniques used in mobile and wireless telecommunications systems, and to illustrate their use in current and future systems. The architectures and services used in these types of networks will also be presented. Course content: 1. Transmission techniques for mobile and wireless telecommunications systems
