Description

The aims of this mathematics course are: 1. to provide a refresher on the basics, essentially at bac+2 level 2. to introduce (or revisit) mathematical tools and concepts useful to the SEE engineer.
Contents:
- Basic mathematical tools: reminders of differential and integral calculus for a function with one and several variables. Calculations with complex numbers. Trigonometry. - Functions for modeling (gate, sinc step, etc.). Functions defined by integrals (Gamma, Beta, Erf, Si, etc.). Dirac impulse. Convolution calculations. - Function spaces for signal and system modeling. - Sequences and series: Review of numerical sequences and series. Sequences and series of functions. Integer series. - Fourier series. - Laplace transforms of functions. (Direct TL of elementary functions of class L. Properties. Inverse TL by dictionary. Applications).
Notes: Some aspects will be taken up and developed in module MA106 in S6. Use of Maple software
