Description
In this module, after recalling the foundations of continuous signal theory, the main processes applied to discrete-time digital signals are presented.
In particular, the concepts of Fourier transform, sampling, Z-transform and linear filtering are covered.

Syllabus
Course content:
1 - Introduction
2- Signal digitization (sampling, Shannon's Sampling Theorem, aliasing effect, etc.)
3 - Discrete-time systems (impulse response, stability, etc.)
4 - Notion of filtering (z-transform reminder, difference equation, amplitude and phase frequency diagram, etc.)
5- Fourier transform of discrete signals.

a project in Matlab (different each year)
