Description

This module consists of 2 parts:

* Part 1: This module provides an overview of satellite navigation techniques. The GPS or Global Positioning System, currently the only fully operational system, is studied in detail. The first part is devoted to the operation of GPS receivers, followed by a focus on the various algorithms classically used to solve the positioning problem. Finally, the question of integrity control, crucial in civil aviation, is addressed. The module ends with a presentation of Galileo, the European alternative to GPS.

* Part 2: Presentation of inertial guidance systems
