The knowledge expected at the end of the course

Acquire an understanding of the main components (memory, processor, etc.) that make up a computer and be able to understand how they work (C1, N1).
Know the principles and general structure of operating systems (C1, N1).
Learn the mathematical concepts underlying the notion of calculation and master classic data structures and their associated algorithms (C1, N1).
Know the fundamental principles of imperative programming (C1, N1).

Learning outcomes in terms of abilities, skills and attitudes expected at the end of UE

Develop simple computer programs using the C language (C2, N1).
Use shell scripts to automate system administration tasks (C2, N1).
Plan a simple local network architecture and implement a basic design based on the OSI or TCP/IP model (C2, N1).
