Description
Level of knowledge :
N1: beginner
N2: intermediate
N3: advanced
N4: expert
The knowledge expected at the end of the course:
- Acquire the knowledge needed to implement digital communications on frequency-selective wireless propagation channels. Basic equalization techniques are presented (ML, MMSE, DFE) as well as multi-carrier techniques with a particular focus on OFDM. (C4, N2) (C5, N2) - Acquire basic knowledge of corporate network administration and underlying protocols: DHCP, DNS, LDAP, NFS, Apache (C1, N2) (C3, N1) - Principles of operating system implementation, memory management for better understanding of program behavior, general principles of scheduling (C1, N2).
Learning outcomes in terms of abilities, skills and attitudes expected at the end of the course:
- Implement the Viterbi algorithm to equalize a frequency-selective channel and simulate a CP-OFDM digital communication chain using Matlab software (C4, N2) (C5, N2).- Deploy a TCP/IP network and implement network administration tools as required (C3, N2) (C4, N2) - Understand the behavior of an application in a given environment (C2, N1).
