Description
At the end of this course, apprentices will have acquired the basic notions of energy thermodynamics, enabling them to tackle concrete problems encountered on industrial sites. They will then be able to carry out basic diagnostics in terms of energy consumption, for example, and will be able to communicate with service providers or design offices likely to intervene on site for maintenance work, or process modification, or even the addition of a new installation.
The main objectives are:
- To understand the basic concepts of thermodynamics, enabling the behavior of a thermodynamic system to be described (e.g., the behavior of a gas during compression, the characteristics of a change of state, etc.)
- To understand the 1st principle of thermodynamics and be able to draw up an energy balance for a given system (especially open systems) + to clearly distinguish between the energy and power requirements of an installation.
Teaching hours
