Public policy and regulation of new technologies (Léo HAMON : 12H CM)
This course aims to provide students with a good understanding of the issues involved in drawing up public policies and regulating new technologies in France and the European Union, between the imperatives of innovation, sovereignty and citizen protection
After a brief introduction to the key players and the workings of French and European institutions, the course looks at policies for developing and regulating artificial intelligence, data and the Cloud.
The course also looks at technological sovereignty and the regulation of social networks, through various case studies and issues such as the geopolitics of technology.
