Company and professional environment

This first module is an introduction to the business world. It is taught almost exclusively by professionals. The main aim of this first module is to enable students to understand how a company builds up its services and prices, and the consequences this has in terms of personnel, time and project management. Most of the module will therefore be devoted to the economic, legal and juridical aspects that constitute the primary constraints and opportunities for companies.Students will also address the notion of ethics in a variety of contexts: economic, financial, social, societal, and in terms of future scientific activity, and according to an individual and collective approach within an organization or system.Minimum skills to be acquired: How a company works out its services and costs, mastery of ethical, legal and business economics aspects.
