Description
This module introduces the basics of general geotechnical engineering. The aim is to understand, formalize and address the issues faced by geotechnical engineers in the context of land use planning and environmental protection.
The following general concepts will be covered:
- Introduction to the act of building;
- Overview of geotechnical fields and standards;
- Introduction to the concepts of slope stability and foundation.
