Description

This teaching module is a general introduction to the geosciences. It is designed to provide a very basic grounding in the disciplines of geology, and is thus a preparation for the first "Initiation aux Sciences du Milieu Naturel" field school.
It provides a brief reminder of the main rock types, notions of stratigraphy and sedimentology, and a succinct presentation of the main tectonic structures and their cartographic representation.Minimum skills to be acquired:Basic geology skills required for the "Initiation aux Sciences du Milieu Naturel" field school, and basic knowledge of how to organize field missions.
