Application of finite element calculations

The aim of this module is to train students in the Abaqus finite element code. Learning takes place over 5 sessions of 4 hours, with practical exercises supervised by the teacher.

Learn the syntax of an abaqus data file.
Use the abaqus graphical environment: abaqus/cae.
On the example of a cantilever beam, test different beam elements, calculation procedures and material behavior.
Model the cantilever beam structure with 2D and 3D elements.
Study a laminated plate, highlighting couplings.
