Syllabus

Through general economics, the course will enable students to understand how companies operate, and to keep abreast of economic developments in order to anticipate change. The course will cover the following essential concepts:

Company financing, from creation to development
Business economics: competitiveness, productivity...
The concepts of income statement, balance sheet and margin
A few concepts of strategy, market, competition and economic consequences for the company
Management forecasting


To help students integrate these concepts, a company game (Kit Cash) will be used: 3 companies represented by 3 groups of students are competing on a market and must, through 5 decisions, ensure that their company is in good economic health for the future.
