Knowledge of mathematical quantities related to notions of deformation and stress (finite or infinitesimal transformations): (C1, N2), (C2, N2)


Knowledge of methods for modeling and solving simplified problems in the mechanics of deformable solids: (C1, N2), (C2, N2)


Acquire the basics of modeling physical phenomena associated with fluid flows in various situations: compressible, turbulent, rotating, etc.: (C1, N2), (C2, N2), (C1, N2), (C2, N2). (C1, N2), (C2, N2)


Know the methods of approximation, dimensional analysis and study of orders of magnitude: (C1, N2), (C2, N2)

Model a structure and its stresses in order to predict its mechanical behavior by determining the corresponding system of mathematical equations
