Description

Objectives

Deepen the knowledge acquired in semester 6 in Solid Mechanics through project-based teaching.
Deepen the knowledge acquired in semester 6 in 3D modeling.
Deepen knowledge and understanding of physical phenomena related to industrialization by material removal.
Lay the foundations of knowledge for the pre-dimensioning, manufacture and repair of organic composite materials applied to aeronautical structures.

Competencies acquired level supervised mastery

Design and dimension mechanical systems
Communicate and work as part of a team Manage and lead a work unit or project group

Competencies being acquired

Mobilize a broad field of fundamental and technical sciences related to aeronautical and space mechanical systems, and have the analytical and synthesis skills associated with them
Choose and implement analysis and characterization methods relevant to mechanical systems
Design, dimension, implement and test a metallic or composite repair/modification
Have a global systems approach to mechanical systems Reason in a context of international regulatory constraints
Integrate into a professional environment in France or abroad Communicate orally and in writing in English

Evaluate one's own skills and steer one's career path

Contents - Pedagogy
Mechanics project:
A Mechanics project linked to a real situation, an industrial support, a real problem is proposed to each pair. New theoretical concepts are introduced during the project, such as the kinetic torsor, the dynamic torsor, and the fundamental principle of dynamics.

Design:
Advanced 3D modeling with CATIA V5 software:

Composite materials:

AP6SASCO course reminders
Mechanical characterization of UD and woven reinforcements.
Demonstration and calculations on the performance of organic composite materials and the mechanical behavior of a fibrous reinforcement.
