Description
Objectives
Know the composition of air systems and understand their operating principles (bleed-off, air conditioning (air and steam cycle), anti-icing, pressurization, overheating detection), as well as the impact on flight safety
Know how to test and troubleshoot avionics equipment
Know all aeronautical maintenance documentation
Be able to define preventive and scheduled maintenance for a system
Know how to analyze a system using the MSG3 method, which is designed to assist regulatory authorities in developing an initial program of scheduled maintenance tasks and intervals for new aircraft and their propulsion systems
Skills acquired
Design, plan, implement and improve maintenance programs for civil aircraft and associated equipment, including involvement in the engineering phases (preventive and predictive maintenance), within an international regulatory context
Exploit and apply international aviation regulations, in particular those of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), to guarantee the safety of passengers and of the territories overflown
Use international aeronautical documentation
Manage and lead multidisciplinary technical teams (production (specialties : mechanics, avionics, structures and cabin), supply chain, airworthiness management, quality, technical support)
