Description
Objectives
Presentation of the industrial context, regulatory requirements and the various activities relating to technical support for air operators
Students will be expected to draw on all the knowledge they have acquired during their school careers

Be autonomous within the framework of a case study focusing on regulations and certification in the field of aeronautical maintenance

Design, plan, implement and improve maintenance programs for civil aircraft and associated equipment, including involvement in the engineering phases (preventive and predictive maintenance), in an international regulatory context

Communicate and work as part of a team Manage and lead a work unit or a project group
Anticipate, decide in situations of uncertainty Be results-oriented (costs, deadlines, quality) and customer satisfaction

Use and apply international aeronautical regulations, in particular those of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), to guarantee the safety of passengers and of the territories overflown

Manage and lead multidisciplinary technical teams (production (specialties : mechanics, avionics, structures and cabin), supply chain, airworthiness management, quality, technical support)

Case study: students will work in teams with roles defined according to the rules imposed by aviation maintenance regulations. They will work independently, with guidance from the teacher. At the end of their work, they will produce a written report, as well as an oral presentation in which each of them will talk about his or her respective role.
