Syllabus

Contents

Integrated course - Discovery of organic composite materials and their intrinsic properties, presentation of the overall manufacturing process for organic composite materials - Presentation of the prepreg industrial product and associated calculations with a view to manufacturing the structure and validating the production process

TP1 - Partial use of the Structural Repair Manual to discover the use of organic composite materials in aeronautics. Reading drawings, finding laminations, identifying materials and suppliers. Application of calculations seen in TD1

TP2 - Fabrication of an aircraft floor-type sandwich structure. Analysis of the manufacturing process and the final product to understand the physical phenomena involved in obtaining a part in organic composite materials

TP3 - Simple floor repair following a protocol, discovery of the equipment used in the aeronautical field and awareness of the problem of repairing structures in organic composite materials

Teaching method
Teaching associated with online resources in Moodle. Lectures, tutorials and practical work are combined with Moodle preparation, and online assessments are carried out following the classroom-based teaching.
Practical work is assessed in real time using online questionnaires to be completed as the activity progresses.
Teaching of practical work with a small number of students (maximum 16) for safety reasons.
