Immunotherapies (DD): understanding the role of the immune system in the emergence of pathological situations such as cancers, autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases. Engineering therapeutic antibodies. Presentation of the various current and developing immunotherapy pathways and descriptions of their modes of action (immune checkpoint, CAR-T, ADC, Bisp, anti-tumor vaccines). Stem cells and cell therapies (GJ): Types of stem cells (ESCs, iPSCs, MSCs and HSCs), de-differentiation, trans-differentiation, reprogramming, stem cell maintenance and regulation, involvement of soluble factors, the extracellular matrix, mechanotransduction, therapeutic applications (potential and limitations), biomanufacturing (expansion and differentiation, medium, supports and dissolved oxygen)Therapies and mRNA vaccines (BG, CC, DD): Principle and mode of action of new vaccines, understanding of specific mRNA modifications, studies of production and purification methods and finally the expected effects on the immune response. Therapeutic viral vectors (BC): presentation, engineering, production methods and examples of use of the main recombinant viral vectors (lentiviruses, adeno-associated viruses).
