Description
At the end of the Protein Purification course, students will be able to apply their knowledge of strategies for purifying and quantifying proteins by electrophoresis under denaturing conditions. He/she will be able to operate a purification automaton (AKTA Purifier, Explorer, Pure), pilot an automaton thanks to practical experience and on-line training (e-learning), and perform column packing.
Introduction to nucleic acid purification techniques: know how to purify and characterize a bacterial plasmid detect a nucleic acid using the PCR reaction use restriction enzymes and perform agarose gel electrophoresis.
Enzymes: set up and validate an enzyme test.
