Description
Level of knowledge :
N1: beginner
N2: intermediate
N3: advanced
N4: expert
The knowledge (skills) expected at the end of the course
Acquire the notions that form the fundamental mathematical foundation on which the concepts of statistical signal and image processing are based (C2, N1).
Know the fundamentals relating to optimization techniques, necessary for the eventual development of signal processing algorithms (C2, N1).
Know the mathematical concepts used to characterize random phenomena and their statistical descriptions (C2, N1).
Be aware of the applications in which the concepts presented during this semester are used.
The learning outcomes in terms of abilities, skills and attitudes expected at the end of the courses of the UE
Model random processes and/or signals, characterize them and extract the parameters defining them from signal processing algorithms (C2, N1).
