Know the complete imaging chain (acquisition/restitution), the characteristics of the human visual system and the principles of stereovision: (C4, N2)
Achieve an intermediate level of temporal, frequency and spatial processing of synthetic or real signals (1D, 2D, video): (C4, N3)
Acquire a culture of signals (speech / audio / image / video) and communications systems, with an awareness of existing standards (JPEG / MPEG compression and 2G / 3G / LTE / ADSB transmission): (C5, N3)
Develop the ability to work in a group and to give value to written and oral work: (C4, N3)
Acquire the fundamentals of error correction in a digital transmission chain: (C8,N2)

Learning outcomes in terms of abilities, skills and attitudes expected at the end of the course:

Master the use of the Fourier transform to analyze the frequency content of a digital image (calculation and display, windowing, resolution): (C3, N2)
Be able to exploit the various concepts of signal or image processing to synthesize a digital filter meeting the required specifications: (C5, N3)
Ability to implement processing chains for applications in speech/audio processing (analysis, enhancement, synthesis), multimedia compression (image or video compression) and signal transmission (simulation of transmitters and receivers): (C8, N3)
