Presentation
The "Chemistry and Physical Engineering" engineer designs innovative molecules and materials. They optimize manufacturing and implementation processes based on the principles of sustainability and sobriety. He also manages projects from laboratory to industrial scale, while integrating the principles of SD&RS. They are called upon to occupy positions of responsibility in a wide range of sectors: chemicals, environment, cosmetics, energy, automotive, aeronautics, pharmaceuticals, etc.
This course is available for both initial and continuing training.

The aim of the first two years is to acquire engineering-level skills through generalist courses and projects. The third year enables students to deepen their knowledge and skills through their chosen specialization. Three internships, lasting a total of 12 months, enable gradual integration into the professional world.

Program
Grades 1 and2
- They are organized around general teaching themes (Physical and Analytical Chemistry, Molecular and Polymer Chemistry, Physics, Engineering Sciences and Techniques, Companies, Professions and Cultures, etc.).
- Several projects put the knowledge acquired into practice: the industry discovery project, the science foundation project and the Research-Development-Innovation project.
- Numerous exchanges with industry professionals are organized (conferences, company visits, ENSMAC engineer forum, sustainable development and social responsibility forum, etc.).
3rd year
- It is dedicated to specialization courses with the participation of industry professionals. Each specialization also includes an industrial project.
- In partnership with higher education establishments in Bordeaux, modules are also offered toopen up to the socio-economic world and the world of research .

In 3rd year, engineering students have the opportunity to sign a professionalization contract. This involves 1,200 hours on the job and 400 hours of teaching activities (classes, practical work and projects) at school and during the year.

During their training, student engineers complete 3 internships that enable them to gradually integrate into the professional world, in France or abroad. At the end of their training, ENSMAC graduates have a cumulative experience of 12 months, including at least one internship in a company.
Introductory internship at the end of 1st year - 4 weeks*.
The aim of this internship is to enable students to discover the world of work in an operative situation, and to make contact with the industrial environment. Working from an operator's position, the student will also gain an understanding of the technical, economic and human dimensions of the company. This initial experience enables them to develop their career plans.
Application internship at the start of2nd year - 20 weeks*.
The aim of this internship is to enable engineering students to put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired during their training. Through work experience, they develop and complete their engineering skills.
End-of-study internship at the end of3rd year - 22 weeks*.
The aim of this end-of-study internship is to enable the student engineer to apply the specific knowledge and skills acquired during the specialization module (chosen in 3rd year), while preparing for integration into the professional world.

Admission by title is open to students with a Licence or BUT. Students with a Bachelor's degree must have validated all their semesters. Applications must be submitted by March 13, 2025 on eCandidat (paper applications will not be accepted).

Candidates with foreign diplomas
Candidates holding a foreign diploma must provide proof of :
- a 3-year higher education diploma (such as a bachelor's degree) to enter the 1st year of engineering training
- a 4-year higher education diploma to enter the2nd year of engineering training
Tuition fees
- Registration fee for Community students: 628* euros per year
- Registration fee for non-EU students: 3,941* euros for the first year / 628* euros for re-registration
- Registration fee for a gap year: 419* euros
- Under a professionalization contract (for the 3rd year), the cost of training is covered by the company's OPCO.
All students in initial training must pay the CROUS student and campus life fee before enrolling.
